Centralized purchasing definition

Centralized purchasing means the procurement of tangible personal property by persons who purchase tangible personal property solely for use or consumption outside Illinois, who take delivery of that tangible personal property in Illinois and who temporarily store that tangible personal property in Illinois prior to transporting it outside the State for use or consumption solely outside Illinois.
Centralized purchasing means that only the Purchasing & Materials Manager and designees have the authority to purchase, negotiate and/or contract for supplies, services and equipment on behalf of the OCFA.
Centralized purchasing means in this regard the activities conducted by the Purchasing Division of the Administrative Services Department that is responsible for the Purchase of all Goods and/or Services as provided by this By-law.
