Capacity-Protected Components definition

Capacity-Protected Components means those components of a Structure which are in the seismic load path, with capacities in excess of seismic demands limited by the lower capacities of a Permitted ERS in the same seismic load path. All components of the Guideway structure other than the components of a Permitted ERS are deemed to be Capacity-Protected Components.

  • Respiratory protective equipment means an apparatus, such as a respirator, used to reduce an individual's intake of airborne radioactive materials.

  • Direction-indicator lamp means the lamp used to indicate to other road-users that the driver intends to change direction to the right or to the left;

  • Approved substance use disorder treatment program means a program for persons with a substance use disorder provided by a treatment program certified by the department as meeting standards adopted under chapter 71.24 RCW;

  • Unfit-for-use tank system means a tank system that has been determined through an integrity assessment or other inspection to be no longer capable of storing or treating hazardous waste without posing a threat of release of hazardous waste to the environment.

  • Potential electrical output capacity means thirty-three percent (33%) of a unit's maximum design heat input, divided by three thousand four hundred thirteen (3,413) Btu/kilowatt hour, divided by one thousand (1,000) kilowatt hour/megawatt hour, and multiplied by eight thousand seven hundred sixty (8,760) hours/year.
