Bluffline definition

Bluffline means a line along the top of a slope, connect- ing the points at which the slope, proceeding away from the river or adjoining watershed channel and which is not visually incon- spicuous, becomes less than 12%. The location of the bluffline shall be certified by a registered land surveyor, soil scientist or a landscape architect.

The term also does not include appurtenant structures which are less than 15 feet by 15 feet* by 10 feet high, which are used for picknicking or storage of recreational or lawn equipment, and which are constructed in a manner that facilitates easy removal. The appurtenant structure -and shall not be used as a shall not have a permanent foundation residential facility. (i) "Structure zone" means an area within an environmental area where a permit is not required to engage in the activities specified in R 281.23(6).
