blebs definition

blebs means small irregular masses of material;
blebs means observed discrete sphericals or very fine droplets of NAPL/tar within a soil or groundwater sample matrix that may not otherwise be visibly contaminated. The blebs can be from various sources including MGP and non-MGP (e.g. petroleum) sources, depending on their characteristics. Typically, blebs are residual contamination.
