Bidding Contractor definition

Bidding Contractor is a Contractor who responds to a request for bids initiated by the Board or its designees.

  • The Bidding Contractor selected by Landlord is referred to herein as the “Contractor.” The cost proposal of the Contractor is referred to herein as the “Cost Proposal.” The Cost Proposal shall be submitted to Tenant for Tenant’s approval no later than the date that is the second business day after Landlord gives Tenant notice of the selection of the Contractor.

  • A contractor ("Contractor") to construct the Tenant Improvements shall be selected pursuant to a competitive bid process whereby the construction of the Tenant Improvements shall be bid out to a minimum of three (3) qualified, licensed and reputable general contractors (each a "Bidding Contractor," and, collectively, the "Bidding Contractors") mutually and reasonably selected by Landlord and Tenant.

  • Landlord shall provide Tenant with copies of the cost proposals from all of the Bidding Contractors and consult with Tenant as to the selection of the Bidding Contractor for a period of five (5) business days after receipt of the cost proposals from all of the Bidding Contractors.

  • Landlord shall (i) solicit cost proposal bids for the cost of all Tenant Improvements Allowance Items to be incurred in connection with the design and construction of the Tenant Improvements from the two (2) Bidding Contractors and (ii) select as the Contractor the Bidding Contractor providing the lowest bid for the Tenant Improvements.

  • A general contractor (“Contractor”) shall be retained by Landlord and shall construct Tenant Improvements; provided, that (i) before selecting the Contractor, Landlord shall seek bids pursuant to Section 4.2 below for the Tenant Improvements from JJS Associates and JLC Contractors (each a “Bidding Contractor”) and (ii) Landlord shall retain as the Contractor the Bidding Contractor providing the lowest bid for the Tenant Improvements.

  • Following such selection, Tenant shall solicit bids from the Bidding Contractors and, following such bidding process, shall select which Bidding Contractor shall be the contractor to construct the Tenant Improvements (the “Contractor”).

  • Each of the Bidding Contractors shall be notified in the bidding package, which shall be prepared by Landlord, of (i) the time schedule for construction of the Tenant Improvements, and (ii) the requirement that, unless Landlord otherwise requires, the selected Bidding Contractor shall use the fire, lifesafety subcontractor designated by Landlord.

  • Following such selection, Tenant shall solicit bids from the Bidding Contractors and, following such bidding process, shall select which Bidding Contractor shall be the contractor to construct the Improvements (the “Contractor”).

  • Approval of plans and specifications for the New Tenant Improvements and construction and installation of the New Tenant Improvements shall be governed by the provisions of Exhibit D-1 attached to the Lease specifically excluding (i) Section 2.1, (ii) any reference in Section 2.2 to Landlord’s pre-approval of the Construction Manager or Bidding Contractor, (iii) Section 2.3, (iv) any reference to Major Portion(s), (v) Section 4, (vi) Section 5(i) and (vii) Section 7(i).

  • Tenant shall be deemed to have approved any Bidding Contractor if Tenant has not provided written notice of Tenant’s objection to such Bidding Contractor within five (5) days following receipt of Landlord’s list of Bidding Contractors.

  • Building Contractor means, subject to paragraphs (4) and (5), a person carrying on any business in the building or construction industry;
