AWP definition

AWP means average wholesale price.
AWP or "average wholesale price" means the amount
AWP or "Average wholesale price" means the amount determined from the latest publication of the Blue Book, a universally subscribed pharmacist reference guide annually published by the Hearst Corporation. "AWP" or "Average wholesale price" may also be derived electronically from the drug pricing database synonymous with the latest publication of the Blue Book and furnished in the National Drug Data File (NDDF) by First Data Bank (FDB), a service of the Hearst Corporation.

  • For each eligible prescription-drug claim, Calculated Ingredient Cost will be calculated at the lesser of the applicable MAC, or AWP Discount price in determining the Discount achieved for purposes of calculating Discounts, including 100% Plan Participant Cost Share Claims at the applicable calculated Discount prior to the application of the Plan Participant Cost Share.

  • The applicable AWP will be based on the package size dispensed and the appropriate NDC.

AWP means the “average wholesale price” for a standard package size of a prescription drug from the most current pricing information provided to PBM by Medi-Span Prescription Pricing Guide, or following approval by the Board, any other nationally available reporting service of pharmaceutical prices as utilized by PBM as a pricing source for prescription drug pricing. The AWP used is based on the date sensitive 11-digit national drug code (NDC) of the actual package size dispensed as set forth by Medi-Span on the date the claim is dispensed.
AWP means the Average Wholesale Price effective on the day the drug was dispensed.
AWP means the benchmark price established by a nationally available reporting service as selected by SOUTHERN SCRIPTS based on the 11-digit National Drug Code (“NDC”) of the Covered Medication dispensed by PHARMACY.
AWP means the average wholesale price of a prescription drug as set forth in the Prime price file at the time a Claim is processed. The price file will be updated no less frequently than weekly through the Pricing Source. The applicable AWP used for retail and mail will be based on the actual NDC-11 of the dispensed product. AWP discounts do not include savings from DUR or other clinical or medical management programs.
AWP means the average wholesale price of a prescription drug based upon the most current information provided to ESI by drug pricing services such as First Databank, Redbook or other source generally recognized in the retail prescription drug industry selected by ESI.
AWP as used herein means the current Average Wholesale Price as listed in print or electronically by a nationally recognized pricing source determined by Southern Scripts based on the package size dispensed.
AWP has the meaning ascribed to such term in Schedule C attached hereto.
