Examples of Authorized Preemption in a sentence
Any preemption, including, without limitation, a preemption of a commercial or promotional announcement contained in a Network Program, which is not an Authorized Preemption hereunder is an “Unauthorized Preemption”.
For any preemption of a Network Program supplied pursuant to this Agreement other than an Authorized Preemption, Station will reimburse Network, within thirty (30) days of invoice, an amount equal to the product of: (i) the number of half hour preemptions; (ii) the Station’s Hourly Network Reimbursement Rate (as set forth below); and (iii) the appropriate Reimbursement Matrix percentage set forth below.
In addition, if Licensee does not promptly comply with the provisions of this paragraph 6.3, the preemption, which gave rise to the make-good obligation, shall automatically constitute an Unauthorized Preemption hereunder (as of the date of the original preemption), even if such preemption was originally an Authorized Preemption.
Station may preempt Network Programs by reason of an Authorized Preemption.
ABC will provide alternative spots in the event that the Network program to be promoted is preempted by Station pursuant to an Authorized Preemption.
In addition to all other remedies, we shall have the right, upon fourteen (14) days’ notice, to terminate Station’s First Call Rights on any individual Program or series of Network Programs already accepted hereunder and withdraw all future episodes of that Program or series of Programs if one or more individual Program episode(s) is pre-empted partially or in its entirety by you for any reason other than by reason of an Authorized Preemption.
Authorized Preemption, first used in Section 23(y) below, means a failure by AFFILIATE to broadcast any UNIVISION Program (i) pursuant to Section 5(a) of this Agreement, (ii) due to force majeure as provided for in Section 11 of this Agreement, or (iii) for which AFFILIATE has obtained the written consent of UNIVISION.
Unauthorized Preemption, first used in Section 10 hereof, means any preemption or failure to broadcast any UNIVISION Program, in whole or in part, other than an Authorized Preemption.
