authorised employee means a municipal employee who is authorised in terms of delegated or sub-delegated authority by the Municipality to exercise a power or perform a duty in terms of this By-law or to inspect land and buildings in order to enforce compliance with this By-law or the zoning scheme;
Relevant Employees means the employees of the Contractor (including the Transferring Employees) who are wholly or mainly assigned to work in the provision of the Services and who are/will be the subject of a Relevant Transfer by virtue of the application of the TUPE Regulations.
Authorised Persons means collectively all Event management, Venue management, Police, public bodies and agencies responsible for safety and security in connection with the Event or the Venue, and their respective staff, officials, representatives, officers and volunteers;
Authorised Participant means the Initial Authorised Participant, the Second Authorised Participant and any Additional Authorised Participant.
Initial Authorised Participant means BNP Paribas Arbitrage S.N.C. and any successor thereto.
Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:
Business Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 4.10(a).
Technical Employees means those employees having special and specific engineering, geological or other professional skills, and whose primary function in Joint Operations is the handling of specific operating conditions and problems for the benefit of the Joint Property.
authorised entity means an entity that is authorized or recognized by the government to provide education, instructional training, adaptive reading or information access to beneficiary persons on a non-profit basis. It also includes a government institution or non-profit organization that provides the same services to beneficiary persons as one of its primary activities or institutional obligations
Part-Time Employees means employees employed on a permanent basis, but obligated to work less than a full (i.e., forty-hour) work week.
Expatriate Personnel means such persons who at the time of being so hired had their domicile outside India;
Eligible Authorised Participant means any entity that meets the requirements of the LS Operating Procedures Agreement.
Company Personnel means any current or former officer, employee, director or consultant of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.
Leased Employee means any person (other than an Employee of the recipient Employer) who, pursuant to an agreement between the recipient Employer and any other person or entity ("leasing organization"), has performed services for the recipient (or for the recipient and related persons determined in accordance with Code §414(n)(6)) on a substantially full time basis for a period of at least one year, and such services are performed under primary direction or control by the recipient Employer. Contributions or benefits provided a Leased Employee by the leasing organization which are attributable to services performed for the recipient Employer shall be treated as provided by the recipient Employer. Furthermore, Compensation for a Leased Employee shall only include compensation from the leasing organization that is attributable to services performed for the recipient Employer.
Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.
Excluded Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 2.5(a)(iv).
Returning Employees means those persons listed in a schedule to be agreed by the Parties prior to the end of the Contract Period who it is agreed were employed by the Contractor (and/or any Sub-Contractor) wholly or mainly in the supply of the Services immediately before the end of the Contract Period.
Business Employee means any Person who is a present or former employee of Seller at any time prior to or on the Closing Date, and who provided or previously provided any services relating to the Business.
Local Personnel means such professionals and support staff who at the time of being so provided had their domicile inside the Government’s country.
Contract employee means a probationary faculty employee or a grant- funded employee hired on a year-to-year basis in accordance with Education Code 87470.
Casual Employees means employees who are employed on a casual basis and includes persons who are employed for periods not exceeding five days at any one time.
Contractor employee means prime Contractor and subcontractor employees who require agency access to perform work under a CMS contract.
authorised person means any person who is designated in writing by the Issuer from time to time to give Instructions to the Agents under the terms of this Agreement;
Retained Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.1.
Supervisory employee means an employee, regardless of job description, having authority in the interest of the employer to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees, or the responsibility to assign work to and direct them, or to adjust their grievances, or effectively recommend that action, if, in connection with the foregoing functions, the exercise of that authority is not of a merely routine or clerical nature, but requires the use of independent judgment.
Additional Authorised Participant means any Eligible Authorised Participant (other than the Initial Authorised Participant or the Second Authorised Participant) that has entered into an Authorised Participant Agreement with the Issuer and has acceded to the LS Operating Procedures Agreement.
