Asbestos material definition

Asbestos material means asbestos or any material containing asbestos.
Asbestos material means any material containing at least one (1) percent asbestos as determined by polarized light microscopy using the Interim Method of the Determination of Asbestos in Bulk Insulation Samples contained in Appendix A of Subpart F in 40 C.F.R. Part 763, unless it can be demonstrated that the material does not release asbestos fibers when crumbled, pulverized or otherwise disturbed.
