Antisense Compound definition
Antisense Compound means an oligomeric compound or analog, mimic or mimetic thereof having a sequence that is partially or wholly complementary to the sequence of a messenger RNA (pre-mRNA or mRNA), viral RNA, or noncoding RNA that directly modulates RNA expression.
Antisense Compound means a composition comprising an oligonucleotide or oligonucleotide analog, whether single or double-stranded, including, without limitation, an siRNA, that hybridizes to a selected mRNA or otherwise interferes with translation or transcription of such mRNA.
