Airframe Flight Hour definition

Airframe Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment the wheels of the Airframe leave the ground on takeoff until the wheels of the Airframe touch the ground on landing following such flight. For purposes of all calculations under the Operative Documents measured in Airframe Frontier Lease Agreement (MSN 28662) Schedule 1 Execution Copy -1- Flight Hours, such Airframe Flight Hours (or parts thereof) shall be rounded up to the nearest minute.
Airframe Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment the wheels of the Airframe leave the ground on takeoff until the wheels of the Airframe touch the ground on landing following such flight, provided that for purposes of determining hours of utilization of a Part (e.g., the Landing Gear or the APU), the relevant “Airframe” for purposes of the preceding clause will be the airframe or airframes on which such Part has been used. “Airframe Heavy Check,” if applicable, is defined in Section 1.1 of the Aircraft Lease Agreement.

  • In respect of the Landing Gear, the Landing Gear Reserve Amount for each Airframe Flight Hour that the Airframe is operated during the preceding calendar month.

  • In respect of the Airframe, the Airframe Reserve Amount for each Airframe Flight Hour that the Airframe is operated during the preceding calendar month.

  • In respect of the APU, the APU Reserve Amount for each Airframe Flight Hour that the Airframe is operated during the preceding calendar month.

Related to Airframe Flight Hour

  • Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment at which the wheels of the Aircraft (or other aircraft in the case of Parts or Engines temporarily installed on such other aircraft) leave the ground on the take-off of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) until the wheels of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) touch the ground on the landing of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) following such take-off.

  • Aircraft means any machine that can derive support in the atmosphere from the reactions of the air other than the reactions of the air against the earth’s surface;

  • Airframe means (a) the Boeing [Model] (generic model [Generic Model]) aircraft (except (i) the Engines or engines from time to time installed thereon and any and all Parts related to such Engine or engines and (ii) Excluded Equipment) specified on Annex A to the Indenture Supplement originally executed and delivered under the Indenture and (b) any and all related Parts. The term “Airframe” includes any Replacement Airframe that is substituted for the Airframe pursuant to Section 7.05 of the Indenture. At such time as any Replacement Airframe is so substituted and the Airframe for which such substitution is made is released from the Lien of the Indenture, such replaced Airframe shall cease to be an Airframe under the Indenture.

  • APU means the auxiliary power unit of the Aircraft.

  • airframes means airframes (other than those used in military, customs or police services) that, when appropriate aircraft engines are installed thereon, are type certified by the competent aviation authority to transport:

  • Unmanned aircraft system means an unmanned aircraft and associated elements, including communication links and components that control the unmanned aircraft that are required for the pilot in command to operate safely and efficiently in the national airspace system.

  • Ferry Flight means the movement of an aircraft without payload to position the aircraft to perform a flight or upon completion of a flight to position the aircraft to a point required by the carrier.

  • Flight means any flight demonstration, flight test, taxi test, or other flight made in the performance of this contract, of for the purpose of safeguarding the aircraft, or previously approved in writing by the Contracting Officer.

  • Unmanned aircraft means an aircraft that is operated without the possibility of human intervention from within or on the aircraft.

  • Kilowatt-hour means the basic unit of electric energy equal to one Kilowatt of power supplied to or taken from an electric circuit steadily for one hour. One-Kilowatt hour equals 1,000 Watt-hours. Electric energy is commonly sold by the Kilowatt-hour.

  • Scheduled Flight means a flight in an aircraft where the airline is listed in the Official Airline guide or equivalent and the air carrier holds a certificate, licence or similar authorization for scheduled air transportation issued by the relevant authorities in the country in which the aircraft is registered and, in accordance with such authorization, maintains and publishes schedules and tariffs for passenger service between named airports at regular and specific times. Scheduled Airline does not include Private Charter.

  • passenger ship means a ship which carries more than 12 passengers;

  • Passenger means any person, except members of the crew, carried or to be carried in an aircraft with the consent of the carrier pursuant to a valid contract of carriage.

  • In Flight means the time commencing with the actual takeoff run of the Aircraft and continuing thereafter until it has completed its landing roll. If the Aircraft is a rotorcraft, from the time the rotors start to revolve under power for the purpose of flight until they subsequently cease to revolve.

  • Engine means (a) each of the two [Engine Manufacturer and Model] engines (generic manufacturer and model [Generic Manufacturer and Model]) listed by manufacturer’s serial number and further described in Annex A to the Indenture Supplement originally executed and delivered under the Indenture, whether or not from time to time installed on the Airframe or installed on any other airframe or on any other aircraft, and (b) any Replacement Engine that may from time to time be substituted for an Engine pursuant to Section 7.04 or 7.05 of the Indenture; together in each case with any and all related Parts, but excluding items installed or incorporated in or attached to any such engine from time to time that are excluded from the definition of Parts. At such time as a Replacement Engine shall be so substituted and the Engine for which substitution is made shall be released from the Lien of the Indenture, such replaced Engine shall cease to be an Engine under the Indenture.

  • passengers means the driver and up to the number of passengers allowed as shown in the Vehicle Registration Document travelling in the vehicle;

  • Fuel system means the components which store or transport fuel on board the vehicle and comprise the fuel tank system, all fuel and vapour lines, any non-tank mounted fuel pumps and the activated carbon canister.
