Aeronautical Services definition

Aeronautical Services means service or activity that involves, makes possible, or is required for the operation of Aircraft, or that contributes to or is required for the safety of such operations of Aircraft. The following services/activities commonly conducted at the Airport are Aeronautical Services within this definition: charter operations, air cargo operations, pilot training, Aircraft rental and sightseeing, aerial photography, crop dusting, aerial advertising, air ambulance services, surveying, air-carrier operations, Aircraft sales and services, sale of aviation petroleum products, repair and maintenance of Aircraft, sale of Aircraft parts, and any other activities that, because of their direct relationship to the operation of an Aircraft, can appropriately be regarded as an “Aeronautical Service.”

Examples of Aeronautical Services in a sentence

  • In addition to the Operating Standards set forth in Section below, Operator shall provide all Aeronautical Services and Nonaeronautical Services in compliance with all the Minimum Standards Ordinance and all other Applicable Laws.

  • Operator shall not contract out to any third party for the performance of any of the Aeronautical Services or Nonaeronautical Services, or engage in any business or activity at the Airport or on the Airport Property other than those specifically authorized under this FBO Agreement, unless otherwise approved, in writing, by the County.

  • The County may, but is not obligated to, take whatever steps necessary to ensure performance of the Aeronautical Services during the time Operator is unable or refuses to perform any or all Aeronautical Services.

  • This section would apply to any Specialized Aeronautical Services Operator that engages in any two (2) or more of the specialized aeronautical services for which Minimum Standards have been developed.

  • It shall be the policy of the City that any person, firm, or corporation wishing to provide Aeronautical Services to the public or conduct special Commercial Aeronautical Activities as defined herein at the Airport shall be given equal opportunity to compete without unjust discrimination for use of available Airport facilities pursuant to FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Grant Assurance 22 Economic Nondiscrimination.

  • The Minimum Standards Ordinance shall constitute the minimum operating standards to be met by Operator in order to conduct any aeronautical activity or endeavor, including, but not limited to, the Aeronautical Services, at the Airport or on the Airport Property.

Related to Aeronautical Services

  • Technical Services means all services that are necessary to carry out individual, scattered site activities including but not limited to: (1) conducting initial inspections, (2) work write-up or project specification development, (3) cost estimate preparation, (4) construction supervision associated with activities that do not require an architect or engineer, (5) lead hazard reduction or lead abatement need determination and oversight, (6) lead hazard reduction or abatement carrying costs, (7) temporary relocation coordination, (8) financing costs such as security agreement preparation and recording or filing fees, (9) processing of individual applications for assistance, (10) income eligibility determination and verification, (11) value determination (new construction) or after rehabilitation value determination (existing structures), and (12) project-specific environmental clearance processes.
