Adjusted Return on Equity definition

Adjusted Return on Equity means Return on Equity, subject to, and/or after giving effect to, any adjustments applicable pursuant to Section 9A(iv) at the time Business Criteria and Performance Target(s) are established for any Year or Years.
Adjusted Return on Equity is equal to the Company’s Adjusted Earnings divided by the Average Annual Shareholders’ Equity.
Adjusted Return on Equity for any Year means the Adjusted Net Income for such Year, divided by the average of the Adjusted Shareholders Equity of the Company at the beginning and end of the Year; subject to, and/or after giving effect to, any adjustments applicable pursuant to Section 4.6.

  • For purposes of this Exhibit, the Operational Performance Results for the Company will be calculated as follows: Adjusted Return on Equity shall be computed by dividing the sum of Adjusted Net Income for each of the three years in the Performance Period by the sum of the Adjusted Average Shareholders’ Equity for each of the three years.

More Definitions of Adjusted Return on Equity

Adjusted Return on Equity means Return on Equity after giving effect to any adjustments applicable pursuant to Section 11.1(d) at the time Business Criteria and Performance Target(s) are established for any Year or Years.

Adjusted Return on Equity. (or “AROE”) means the Company’s Consolidated Adjusted Net Income divided by the Company’s Consolidated Adjusted Equity. AROE shall be rounded to the nearest tenth of one percent (.1%). The Finance and Planning Committee shall have the right (but not the obligation) to make at any time, in its sole discretion, any adjustments in the method of determining AROE.   • Return on Equity means the percentage equal to the Company’s Net Income divided by average stockholder’s equity, determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Return on Invested Capital for a period shall mean earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization divided by the difference of total assets less non-interest bearing current liabilities.
