Actively Working definition

Actively Working means either:
Actively Working includes, without limiting, working at base on a scheduled shift or when called in to either cover or respond to an emergency call or transfer.
Actively Working means those employees who are in good standing with the Existing Operators, PBS and/or PCS, and who are not temporarily absent from active employment by reason of disability, illness, injury, workers’ compensation, approved leave of absence or layoff. New Operators, Addit and/or SLC reserve the right to establish new terms and conditions of employment. Transferred Employees, at the option of New Operators, Addit and/or SLC, may be required to submit to and pass background checks, pre-employment physicals and drug screening as a condition to their hiring and retention by New Operators, Addit and/or SLC.

More Definitions of Actively Working

Actively Working means You are currently employed and actually performing a job for a third party as of the date of the Protected Event. ADMINISTRATOR means MI Assurance Ltd. or a contracted third party or one of their affiliates.

  • Actively at Work and "active work" means actually performing on a Full- time basis each and every duty pertaining to your job in the place where and the manner in which the job is normally performed. This includes approved time off such as vacation, jury duty and funeral leave, but does not include time off as a result of injury or illness.

  • Deadly weapon means any weapon, whether loaded or unloaded, from which a shot may be discharged, or a switchblade knife, gravity knife, billy, blackjack, bludgeon, or metal knuckles.

  • Company’s workforce means the persons (and the dependants of those persons) engaged whether as employees, agents or contractors in the construction and operation of the facilities to be established pursuant to approved proposals;
