Active Mining Operations definition

Active Mining Operations means, after the Lodging Date, activities, including construction activities, related to the extraction, removal or recovery, and beneficiation of metal ore in commercial quantities, and thereby excludes Exploration Operations.

Related to Active Mining Operations

  • Mining Operations means obtaining or extracting any mineral by any mode or method or any purpose directly or indirectly connected therewith or incidental thereto, including—

  • Mining operation means any operations undertaken for the purpose of winning any mineral as defined in section 3 (d) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.

  • Drilling operations means the drilling of an oil and gas well and the production and completion operations ensuing from the drilling which require entry upon the surface estate and which were commenced after June 30, 1979, and oil and gas geophysical and seismograph exploration activities commenced after June 30, 1983.

  • Active business operations means all business operations that are not inactive business operations.

  • Inactive business operations means the mere continued holding or renewal of rights to property previously operated for the purpose of generating revenues but not presently deployed for such purpose.
