of the Parties under the Contract are conditional on satisfaction or waiver of the Condition Precedent and on the issue of a Notice to Proceed in relation to the Works. The Notice to Proceed may be issued by the Employer on or after the date on which the Condition Precedent has been satisfied or waived. In this Clause "Condition Precedent" means delivery by the Contractor to the Employer of originals of the Performance Security and Advance Payment Bond (in relation to the first payment in accordance with Attachment C to the General Conditions). If the Notice to Proceed has not been issued by 30 April 2018, either Party may by written notice to the other Party terminate the Contract by 15 May 2018 with no compensation being payable. The termination of the Contract shall be effective upon the receipt of the notice.
