Reconstruction work includes a change in grade away from the canal, new curb and gutter, new pavement, striping, new stormwater drainage, and lighting. The design phase of the project shall be completed by June 30, 2023 and construction is tentatively scheduled to commence in August 2023. To be eligible for grant consideration, municipalities must apply through their respective Counties. There is no fiscal impact to the County, as the cost is split between FDOT and the City.
