Three One-Design classes exist at the Lake Charles Yacht Club. They are Sunfish, Flying Scot and Optimist. The club owns eight (8) Sunfish, four (4) are for general use by any club member. Of the three (3) Flying Scots, two (2) are for general use by any club member. The single Optimist may be used by anyone. Use of club owned boats are at the risk of the member and authorized guests. Neither the club or its governing board, nor its members are liable for injuries sustained on or in relation to activity aboard or around club boats.
