The Starwood financial advisors reviewed and analyzed publicly available financial information, implied multiples and market trading data relating to certain companies, which we refer to in this section of this joint proxy statement/prospectus as the “selected public companies,” and compared that information to the corresponding information for Starwood Ex-Vistana and Marriott.
