NASA Ames Education and Public Outreach office and the AERO Institute will work closely together on a balanced approach for the use of the Informal Education Visitor Center funding that supports visitor center enhancement, the creation of new collaborations and partnerships, and provides staff to create and adequately implement new educational content, programs and opportunities for educators, students and the general public. A small portion of the funding is also currently set aside to obtain materials and support miscellaneous purchases and services.

This project agreement is to include advertisement, marketing and design. This agreement (“Agreement”) between the Visit Tuolumne County (“The Contractor”), and the City of Sonora (“The City”). The purpose of this Agreement is to state the terms and conditions under which Visit Tuolumne County will furnish its services to the City. The Contractor agrees to provide advertising, marketing, media placement, web development, design, and reporting services to the city as described in the Digital Media Plan. This is service provided to aid the City’s travel, tourism and hospitality industries.

The agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (Kimley-Horn) will provide for design and permitting for the widening of the existing 2-lane section of Honore Avenue from the Fruitville Road intersection north to 17th Street to a 4-lane urban arterial section with closed drainage, a distance of approximately 1.0 miles in length. The project includes the addition of two through travel lanes, bicycle lanes, sidewalks on both sides of Honore Avenue, roadway lighting and landscaping. The existing one lane roundabout at Honore Avenue and Richardson Road will be widened to a 2-lane roundabout and the signalized intersection at Honore Avenue and 17th Street will be converted to a 2-lane roundabout. Stormwater facilities and drainage to accommodate the roadway improvements are also included in the design.
