Pet’s name: It is strictly against Tennessee Tails Rescue’s policy to let a pet leave our care without first being spayed or neutered. The only exception to the policy is in the case of puppies/kittens which are too young to undergo surgery before they are adopted. In that case, this Spay/Neuter Agreement is incorporated by this reference into our standard Adoption Contract.

acknowledge that I am adopting an unspayed or unneutered animal from Is Today My Day Rescue (hereafter Rescue). In the event an animal is less than six months of age and is either 1) under 4 pounds in weight or 2) is one of several large breeds which are recommended not to spayed before the age of six months, then I understand that the Rescue’s policy is to adopt the dog provided I agree to spay or neuter it when the dog is six months old.

Proof of Spay or Neuter must be received within 14 days of the procedure. If the dog’s health does not allow this agreement to be honoured, Gulf Coast Corgis must be provided with a statement from your veterinarian that this dog is not yet in the physical and/or emotional condition to perform the surgery. Based upon the veterinarian’s evaluation of this dog you will contact the veterinarian and establish the earliest date the procedure can be done. You will notify the breeder of this amendment in writing at which time all other conditions of this agreement will apply and be enforced. It is the responsibility of the purchaser, not the veterinarian to ensure that Gulf Coast Corgis has received verification that the surgery was performed. Failure to comply by age listed below, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties. will be considered a breach of contract and at that time buyer will transport the dog back to Gulf Coast Corgis and will NOT be entitled to any kind refund.
