Whereas the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, on behalf of the Province pursuant to Section 14 of the Police Act (British Columbia), and the Federal Minister, on behalf of Canada pursuant to Section 20 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, have entered into an agreement for the use or employment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police or any portion thereof, to carry out the powers and duties of the provincial police force relating to the provision of municipal police services and in aiding the administration of justice in the Province and in carrying into effect the laws in force therein;
