Most taxpayers will have until Monday, April 15, 2024, to make contributions to a traditional IRA or Roth IRA for 2023. However, due to the Patriots’ Day holiday observed in Massachusetts and Maine on April 15, 2024, and the Emancipation Day holiday observed in Washington DC on Tuesday April 16, 2024, residents of Massachusetts and Maine only will have until Wednesday, April 17, 2024, to make contributions to a traditional or Roth IRA for 2023.
