On November 22, 2011, Complainants filed fair housing Complaints against Baltimore County with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) alleging violations of the Fair Housing Act as amended in 1988, 42 U.S.C. § 3601, et seq. (the “Act”); Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 2000d, 24 C.F.R. Part 1 (“Title VI”); Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 29 U.S.C. § 794, 24 C.F.R. Part 8 (“Section 504”); Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101 et seq. (“ADA”); and Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, 42 U.S.C. §§ 5309 et seq. (“Section 109”).The parties have agreed to the following terms to resolve these Complaints without the issuance of a Letter of Findings or Determination. This Conciliation Agreement and Voluntary Compliance Agreement (“Agreement”) does not constitute an admission by Respondent of any violation of the Act or any other federal or state statute or regulation.
