This Temporary Emergency Telecommuting Agreement applies only in the event that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority ("MTA'') Chair, Managing Director, or President declares an "Unforeseen Emergency Circumstance," and governs only represented employees of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority ("MTA") who have been identified by their Agencies andDepartment Heads as critical to the execution of emergency or day-to-day functions of their department and whose duties can be performed remotely in the event of an Unforeseen Emergency Circumstance ("Essential Employees").

I, the undersigned employee (“Employee”), have read the Emergency Telecommuting Policy and the Emergency Telecommuting Agreement (“ETA” or “Agreement”) in their entirety and I agree to abide by the terms and conditions they contain. I understand and agree that the ETA is temporary and contingent upon Department Head approval. Approval does not imply entitlement to a permanently modified position or a continued telecommute arrangement.
