This agreement between the Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department and the Clearwater adopting organization, registered below, will remain valid for one year from the date of signing. It requires that the adopting organization commit to a minimum of two maintenance projects within their adopted park or other area with a minimum of 3 hours and 6 participants per project. Projects may include trash and debris removal, planting, painting and other activities agreed upon between the two parties. These projects must be approved and scheduled through the Clearwater Parks and Recreation Volunteer Specialist. A sign-in sheet must be provided after each project to the Volunteer Specialist.

The City authorizes the Grantee to participate in the Adopt-a-Park program by cleaning up the park listed on their application. Grantee agrees to provide volunteers to perform only the services outlined in the approved application. Grantee understands that it and its members will not be compensated for the work, but will complete the volunteer duties in a responsible manner and in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

This Agreement ("Agreement") is dated effective this day of _, 2009. This Agreement is by and between the City of Mountlake Terrace, a Washington municipal corporation ("City"), and The Mountlake Terrace Dog Off-leash Group (a.k.a. MLT D.O.G.) a charitable organization registered (UBI # 602-795-252) with the State of Washington (Organization), collectively known as the parties (“Parties”). This agreement shall remain in effect for a period of one year from the date of the agreement and may be extended annually thereafter upon written consent of the Parties.
