THIS LICENCE AGREEMENT IS AN AGREEMENT FOR OCCUPANCY AND PERSONAL TO YOU AND DOES NOT CREATE A TENANCY. A TENANCY IS A RIGHT IN THE PROPERTY AND A LICENCE DOES NOT CREATE THIS RIGHT. This Licence Agreement is made between You and the University at either: (if you are booking through the Accommodation Portal), the time You receive an Accommodation Acceptance Confirmation from us confirming Your Room has been booked; or if you are booking in person at your Campus Facilities Information Hub, at the time the University representative and you have physically signed this Licence Agreement; or (if you are completing and returning the Licence Agreement via manual process, e.g. post), at the time You receive an Accommodation Acceptance Confirmation from us that your signed Licence Agreement has been received and that Your Room has been booked. This is a legally binding agreement and grants you a personal right to occupy Accommodation under a licence agreement. You have no legal interest in the Accommodation and this Agreement does not create a tenancy agreement and is excluded from the security of tenure regimes of the Housing Acts 1985 and 1988.
