This Agreement is a group annuity contract that funds benefits for plans qualified under section B[401(a)/457] of the Internal Revenue Code and is designed to comply with state insurance department standards. Annuities are available subject to the terms of each plan. However, this Agreement does not require the purchase of annuities. This Agreement and any Participant accounts are nonassignable and nontransferable, except, with Our consent, in the event of a “qualified domestic relations order” within the meaning of section 414(p) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a loan to a Participant under the terms of the Plan.
