THIS AGREEMENT AND PLAN OF REORGANIZATION (the “Plan”) is made this 14th day of December 2017, among John Hancock Variable Insurance Trust (“JHVIT”), a Massachusetts business trust, on behalf of the “Acquired Fund” and the “Acquiring Fund” listed below, each of which is a separate series or fund of JHVIT, and, solely with respect to Section 9, John Hancock Investment Management Services, LLC (“JHIMS”).
