THIS AGREEMENT AND PLAN OF REORGANIZATION (the “Plan”) is made this 8th day of December, 2016, among John Hancock Variable Insurance Trust (“JHVIT”), a Massachusetts business trust, on behalf of each “Acquired Fund” and its “Acquiring Fund” listed below, each of which are separate series or funds of JHVIT, and, solely with respect to Section 9, John Hancock Investment Management Services, LLC (“JHIMS”).
