Pursuant to the Transfer Agency and Service Agreement between THE HARTFORD MUTUAL FUNDS, INC. and HARTFORD ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES COMPANY dated as of November 1, 2001, THE HARTFORD SELECT MIDCAP GROWTH FUND is hereby included as a new Fund in accordance with the Additional Funds provision of Section 10 of the Agreement. All provisions in the Agreement shall apply to The Hartford Select MidCap Growth Fund.

Pursuant to the Principal Underwriting Agreement between HARTFORD SECURITIES DISTRIBUTION COMPANY, INC. and THE HARTFORD MUTUAL FUNDS, INC. (formerly known as ITT Hartford Mutual Funds, Inc.) dated July 22, 1996, as amended and as assigned to Hartford Investment Financial Services, LLC (formerly known as Hartford Investment Financial Services Company) on November 1, 1998 (the "Agreement"), THE HARTFORD SELECT MIDCAP GROWTH FUND is hereby included as a new Fund. All provisions in the Agreement shall apply to The Hartford Select MidCap Growth Fund.
FORM OF AMENDMENT NUMBER 10 TO INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT AGREEMENTInvestment Management Agreement • December 23rd, 2004 • Hartford Mutual Funds Inc/Ct
This amended Agreement is effective for a period of two years from the date hereof and shall continue in effect thereafter in accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of the Agreement.
