This is a service level agreement (SLA) between Middlesbrough PCT and named community pharmacies in the Middlesbrough PCT area. The purpose of the SLA is to support MPCT Emergency Eye Care Scheme (MEECS) by facilitating the supply of medicines to patients when required, following a consultation with a named accredited optometrist as part of the MEECS, and without having to visit the GP for a prescription.
