This agreement shall govern the rights as provided in this agreement of the Board and the Smoky Valley Educators Association during the effective period from July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021. This agreement shall not be extended orally, and it is expressly understood that it shall expire on the date indicated. All sections of this agreement shall be continued in future agreements unless legally noticed as indicated in K.S.A. 72-5423. Both the Board and the Smoky Valley Educators Association agree that if there becomes a problem of significance and with the consent of both the Board and the Smoky Valley Educators Association, negotiations could resume for the purpose of attempting to solve the specific problem through negotiations.
