Common use of Written Demand Clause in Contracts

Written Demand. The Contractor may make a demand for arbitration by filing such a demand, in writing, to the Director. The demand shall be made within fifteen (15) days of the date of issuance of the State Public Defender’s decision on appeal. The Claim’s original statement of the matter in controversy with supporting documentation shall constitute the entire subject matter to be heard by the arbitrator, unless the parties agree to modify the scope of the issue at the hearing.
