Common use of Writing Clause in Contracts

Writing. All notices, demands and requests required or permitted to be given or made under any provision of this Lease shall be in writing and shall be given or made by personal service or by mailing same by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, postage prepaid, or overnight by Fed Ex or reputable courier which provides written evidence of delivery or other means of confirmation of delivery (such as computer confirmation by Fed Ex), or by facsimile with facsimile confirmation that the notice was sent, addressed to the respective party at the address set forth in Section 1.2 of this Lease or at such other address as the party may from time to time designate, by a written notice sent to the other in the manner aforesaid.
