Workforce Housing Unit Clause Samples

A Workforce Housing Unit clause defines specific residential units within a development that are designated for occupancy by individuals or families who meet certain income or employment criteria, typically those who are employed in essential community roles but may not qualify for traditional affordable housing. This clause outlines eligibility requirements, such as income limits or employment in local industries, and may specify the number, location, and features of these units within a project. Its core practical function is to ensure that a portion of housing remains accessible to moderate-income workers, addressing local housing shortages and supporting community stability.
