Work Week Shift. (a) The normal work week shall be five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) consecutive hours each. A one-half (1/2) hour unpaid intermission for a meal, within 2 hours of the mid-point of the scheduled shift, barring an emergency, shall be allowed. Employees who agree to remain on- site and work during their lunch period will be paid for such time worked. (b) Normal shift hours shall be as follows: Day shift: Between 6:00AM to 6:00PM. A shift differential of 10% plus the basic wage rate will be paid for all shifts beginning between 12:00PM and 6:00AM. (c) The Company may schedule outside of normal hours limited numbers to efficiently meet reasonable Customer demands and maintain adequate service. (d) Scheduled Saturdays and Sundays shall be paid at the overtime rate of (11/2) times the basic rate. (e) One fifteen (15) minute paid break shall be given during an eight (8) hour shift. (f) Shifts will be assigned on a seniority-qualified basis, out of the appropriate work group.
