Work Transfer Clause Samples

The Work Transfer clause defines the conditions under which responsibilities, obligations, or ongoing work under a contract may be transferred from one party to another. Typically, this clause outlines the process for notifying the other party, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring that the transferee meets any required qualifications or standards. For example, if a contractor wishes to assign part of their work to a subcontractor, this clause would specify how that transfer should be managed. Its core practical function is to provide a clear framework for transferring work, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring continuity and quality of performance.
