Work Beyond Regular Time Clause Samples

Work Beyond Regular Time. Employees, who, for any reason, work beyond their regular quitting time into the next shift, shall receive a reasonable rest period before they start to work on the next shift. Said rest period shall be construed generally to mean thirty (30) minutes. It is clearly understood that for the purpose of this section, the phrase “work beyond their regular quitting time” shall mean the working of another shift and that the supervisor in charge shall have the right to schedule said paid thirty (30) minutes break other than at the beginning of the second shift in case of emergency.
