Work away. Work away means work, operations, installation or services performed by or on behalf of the insured but not on premises.
Work away. 44:01 When an employee is required to perform work at other than their normal work place, and the employee’s status is such that the employee is not entitled to claim expenses for lodging and meals, the Employer shall provide transportation, or mileage allowance in lieu, for travel between the employee’s normal workplace and any other work place(s).
Work away. A repair station may perform work away for special circumstances or on a recurring basis to support U.S.-registered aircraft or aircraft components for the fitment onto U.S.-registered aircraft. Procedures are required in the FAA Supplement.
Work away loss or liability for bodily injury or damage arising from work away.
Work away a) damage to materials, parts or equipment furnished in connection with performance of the work away but this limitation shall not be applied to products previously supplied under any previous contract; or b) damage to property that is removed, repaired, adjusted, altered, reinstated, withdrawn or disposed of in the course of and necessitated by the performance of the work away; or c) any expenditure incurred by the insured or others for the removal, repair, adjustment, alteration, reinstatement, withdrawal, inspection or disposal of the work away as a result of any defect (suspected or known) in or unsuitability for the intended purpose of the work away.

  • Work Load The professional obligation of academic employees comprises both scheduled and non-scheduled activities. The Guild and the District recognize that it is part of the professional responsibility of faculty to carry out their duties in an appropriate manner and place. As part of this responsibility faculty are expected to play an important role in the recruitment and retention of students, campus and departmental governance, program review, accreditation, planning and mentoring. Faculty commitment to retention will be demonstrated by informing students that they are to talk with the instructor prior to dropping the course. Faculty are encouraged to include a statement to this effect in their course syllabi. While it is understood that course syllabi content falls within the purview of the individual faculty member’s academic freedom, the parties also understand that items required to be part of syllabi in order to maintain college or continuing education accreditation must also be included. Tenured/tenure-track faculty who have less than a full-time contract are not eligible to work any additional assignments including long-term substitution (day-to-day substitution is allowed provided the limits specified in Section 5.2.1.3 are not exceeded). Faculty assignments shall be made in the following priority order: Tenured/tenure-track, pro- rata, overload, Priority of Assignment (POA) adjunct faculty assignments, then non-POA adjunct faculty.

  • Work The definition of work, for overtime purposes only, includes: 1. All hours actually spent performing the duties of the assigned job, rounded to the next quarter hour; 2. Travel time required by the Employer during normal work hours from one work site to another or travel time prior to normal work hours to a different work location that is greater than the employee’s normal home-to-work travel time and all travel in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws; 3. Vacation leave; 4. Sick leave; 5. Compensatory time; 6. Holidays; and 7. Any other paid time not listed below.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Work Hours Except in emergencies, the standard work week of full-time unit employees shall normally consist of five (5) days of eight (8) hours each, exclusive of lunch hour. Each employee shall be assigned regular starting and ending times, which shall not be changed without prior notice. Should an employee be required to work during his/her lunch hour, the length of such interruption shall be counted as time worked unless other arrangements are made with his/her supervisor.

  • WORK CLOTHING Two sets of cotton drill protective clothing will be issued to all employees, upon request, within two weeks of commencing work with the Company. Employees will be made aware of these entitlements at the time of employment. A set of clothing will consist of either: • Two pairs of overalls; or • Two combination bib and brace; or • Two pairs of long trousers and two long sleeved shirt; or • Work denims at cost no greater than the above three choices • Clothing and footwear will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis.
