WITHDRAWAL FROM CONTRACT DUE TO CANCELLATION OF ELECTION. Any participating authority may withdraw from this agreement and the Joint Election should it cancel its election in accordance with Sections 2.051 - 2.053 of the Texas Election Code. The withdrawing authority is fully liable for any expenses incurred by the Tarrant County Elections Administrator on behalf of the authority plus an administrative fee of ten percent (10%) of such expenses (but not less than $ 75.00). Any monies deposited with the Elections Administrator by the withdrawing authority shall be refunded, minus the aforementioned expenses and administrative fee if applicable. It is agreed that any of the joint election early voting sites that are not within the boundaries of one or more of the remaining participating authorities, with the exception of the early voting site located at the Tarrant County Elections Center, may be dropped from the joint election unless one or more of the remaining participating authorities agree to fully fund such site(s). In the event that any early voting site is eliminated under this section, an addendum to the contract shall be provided to the remaining participants within five days after notification of all intents to withdraw have been received by the Elections Administrator.
