With Standby. The nurse will be placed on standby for a portion of the shift and will be given a scheduled time to report to work for a portion of the shift at the nurse’s straight-time hourly rate. If the nurse is called in during the standby portion of the shift, the nurse shall receive call back pay for all hours worked as a result of being called in.
With Standby. The nurse will be placed on standby for a portion of the shift and will be given a scheduled time to report to work for a portion of the shift at the nurse’s straight-time hourly rate, and such time may be changed only once during a shift. If the nurse is called in from standby prior to the 4 scheduled report time, the nurse shall be paid at the rate of 5 time and one-half (1 ½) his/her regular hourly rate for the 6 greater of (a) the hours the nurse works until the time the nurse 7 was scheduled to report; or (b) the contractual minimum 8 number of hours for callback. When a nurse is on standby and 9 is called to come in prior to the scheduled report time, 10 consideration will be given to the time needed by the nurse to 11 drive to work, which should not exceed one hour from the time 12 of notification (except in the procedural areas).
With Standby. The nurse will be placed on 9 standby for a portion of the shift and will be given a 10 scheduled time to report to work for a portion of the shift at 11 the nurse’s straight-time hourly rate.
