Common use of With respect to Article 5 Clause in Contracts

With respect to Article 5. a) It is understood that, with reference to paragraph 5 of this Article an independent agent is a person who does business and signs contracts in his own name and does not act on behalf of an enterprise in whatsoever manner; and an authority to conclude contracts in the name of an enterprise is also exercised where different persons are acting under an authority for the enterprise.
