Common use of Wire Center Clause in Contracts

Wire Center. As set forth in 47 C.F.R. § 51.5, a Wire Center is the location of a Verizon local switching facility containing one or more central offices, as defined in the Appendix to Part 36 of Chapter 1 of Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The Wire Center boundaries define the area in which all customers served by a given Wire Center are located.
