Winter Storm Clause Samples

The Winter Storm clause defines the rights and responsibilities of parties in the event that a winter storm disrupts contractual obligations. Typically, this clause outlines procedures for notifying the other party, possible delays in performance, and any adjustments to deadlines or deliverables due to severe weather conditions such as heavy snowfall or ice. Its core function is to allocate risk and provide a clear process for handling unforeseen weather-related interruptions, ensuring that neither party is unfairly penalized for delays caused by winter storms.
