Winter Period Sample Clauses

Winter Period. Winter period is defined as November through April. Overtime is not considered voluntary during the winter period. Maintenance employees in the laundry division will also be utilized when necessary. For known weather events – a schedule for additional hours/shifts will be posted prior to the event. For unforeseen weather events and emergencies – the person on standby will be called first. If more than one person is needed, management will maintain a weekly volunteer overtime list. If there are no volunteers, employees will be mandated beginning with the least senior employee on a rotating basis.

Winter Period. The periods of time in each Contract Year from January 1 through March 31, inclusive, and December 1 through December 31, inclusive. This will include 24 hours per day, 7 days per week during this Winter Period.

Winter Period. For any Winter Period, the Unavailability Factor shall be less than twelve and one-half percent (12.5%).

Any such additional amount (i.e. winter allocation above 35,000 acre-feet) shall be charged against the summer period Refuge Allocation, except if such additional water is made available upon recommendation of the KBCC to provide for augmentation of the Refuge Summer Allocation pursuant to Section 17.3, but not including the 10,000 acre feet identified in Section 15.1.1.
