WELDING WORK. Any employee, while welding or burning galvanized pipe or stainless steel, or any other pipe or material that gives off toxic and/ or poisonous gases, shall receive from the Employer one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) cents per hour over the regular hourly rate of pay.
WELDING WORK. A ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ who is a certified welder and performs field welding work during the shift shall receive the welders’ rate ($1.50 above appropriate rate) for the entire shift. A ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ who is a certified welder and performs shop welding work during the shift shall receive the welders’ rate ($1.50 above appropriate rate) for time spent performing shop welding work, rounded up to the nearest full hour.
WELDING WORK. 2 Cutting of materials by use of torch or other open flame devices.
WELDING WORK. A staff member shall be paid a weekly rate for oxy-acetylene or electrical welding. The quantum of the rate shall be $16.80 or according to the following formula, whichever is the highest quantum: 38 x (0.05% of the weekly salary for HEW level 4, step 1).
