Waitlist Assignment. 1. Should Residence reach full capacity after the June 3, 2019 application deadline a waitlist will be in effect. Applicants who complete their application after June 3, 2019 and have paid their deposit will be placed on the waitlist by the date their application was completed.
2. Applicants may cancel their position on the waitlist at any time before a room is offered by Residence Admissions and receive a refund of $100 from the initial deposit. All cancellations must be received in writing. Once a room has been offered by Residence Admissions, applicants are no longer able to cancel from the waitlist.

Waitlist applicants will be notified through e-mail when a room becomes available and will be required to respond within two (2) business days. If Student Housing & Residence Life does not receive a response within that time frame, the next student on the waitlist will be contacted. The applicant’s non-refundable application fee and space on the waitlist will be forfeited. The waitlist will remain active throughout the academic year. It is an applicant’s responsibility to keep their contact information up to date in ACORN. If an applicant is offered a room in residence and declines that offer, the application will be cancelled and the applicant’s application fee shall be forfeited to the University.

Applicants who complete their application past the deadline outlined in section 2.0 will be placed on the waitlist after all on-time applicants by the date their application was completed.
