19.11 Station Agents who have successfully passed the Senior Agent exam prior to October 1, 1983, shall continue to receive Specialist pay while working in a Station Agent capacity.
a) An employee that enters a classification as a Lead or a Chief shall accrue or continue to accrue longevity within the basic classification.
b) If an employee steps down to a position in a lower classification in which they hold seniority, their pay shall be determined by placing them on the wage step equal to their years of seniority earned in that classification.
c) If an employee steps down to a position in a lower classification in which they do not hold seniority, they shall be placed on the years of service pay progression step equal to their years of service as opposed to the bottom of the wage scale. However, that employee shall be frozen in their new classification for a period of one year.
d) An employee transferring from one classification to another, after being placed on the correct step for pay progression purposes, will progress normally for both years of service and any annual classification increases agreed to by the Company and Union.
e) Whenever an employee successfully bids into a higher classification, that employee will be placed on the pay progression in the higher classification that is at least .25 cents greater than their current rate of pay.
19.13 All full time employees who have completed 20 years of service shall receive longevity pay of twenty cents (20¢) per hour.
19.14 Language Qualified Customer Service Agents will receive one dollar per hour premium above regular Customer Service Agents when working as Language Qualified Customer Service Agents
19.15 Premium Pay positions identified in Article 5 will receive one dollar ($1.00) per hour premium. Chief Agents will not be eligible for this additional premium if assigned to a Premium Pay position/function.
19.16 Any employee awarded a Chief vacancy after MMM DD YYYY (Date of Ratification of this Agreement) will be paid at the current base classification plus a Chief Premium of one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) Two dollars ($2.00) To be eligible to receive license pay the licenses must be registered with the Company and proof established as to their possession and currency. Maintenance Controllers are not eligible for license premiums while working in that classification.
19.11 A premium rate of ten cents (10¢) per hour for that Chief Position. Existing Chiefs as of the Date of Ratification above, including employees reclassified from Lead to Chief, will be paid to any employee who is required to work with sandblasting equipment in an enclosed room.
19.12 Skill pay: Employees working in red-circled after being placed at the aircraft mechanic, appropriate step of the Chief/Lead pay scale and mechanic, Station Engineer and Maintenance Controller classifications will receive one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour worked in addition to all other payment.
19.13 Employees identified by LOA #7 in the aircraft mechanic classification, who hold an FCC and or repairman certificate and who do not hold or hold only an A or a P license, will continue to receive the hourly premium set forth below for such certificates remain on that step until such time as they hold both A the base classification rate plus the Chief Premium exceeds that amount, at which time their compensation as a Chief will be switched to the base rate + Premium methodology. While red-circled, such employees will receive annual across-the-board pay increases only.
19.17 All employees covered by this Agreement will receive pay from the first day of new-hire training.

19.15 There is agreement that with no less than 60 days notice pay dates may be changed to the 7th and 22nd provided this change is made for all groups. There is also agreement that with a new payroll system if it is practical to have pay dates every two weeks, rather then twice a month, that the Company will work with the union in implementing such a change.
19.16 Mechanics working in the GSE Mechanic Classification will receive ASE License Premium of ten twenty cents ($0.10 20) per hour in addition to all other compensation for each ASE certification up to a maximum of three (3) certifications.
19.17 An Aircraft Mechanic who is required to enter a confined fuel tank to perform work shall receive an additional premium of $5.00 per hour for the time spent working in such conditions. In order to qualify for the premium, the Supervisor in charge must authorize the payment. The employee shall receive no less than a minimum premium of one (1) hour. For pay purposes, all time spent in such conditions will be rounded up to the nearest one-half (1/2) hour. It is understood that “entry” is defined as when 75% of an employee’s body is within the confined area.

WAGE RULES. 19.1 The minimum hourly rates set forth on in Classification Wage Scales attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement shall prevail on and after the effective date as set forth in Article 23 29 of this Agreement.
19.2 No employee shall suffer any reduction in hourly rate as a result of this Agreement.
19.3 Employees shall be paid by automatic deposit to their account and in conformance with the policy of the Company. In no event will an employee not be afforded an opportunity to receive two (2) payments per month from the Company for work performed. In the event a regular pay day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, the Company will have pay checks prepared and distributed on the day preceding such Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday. It is Company policy to abide by Hawaii State law and to make employees' checks available avail-able by the end of their normal work shifts on established pay days.
19.4 When there is a shortage of one (1) day's pay or more in the pay due amount paid to an employee, the Company shall, at the employee's request, issue a supplementary payroll pay check to cover the shortage as soon as reasonably possible and within seventy-two (72) hours after it is determined what is due.
19.5 A statement of all wages and deductions made for the pay period will accompany the employee's pay check, and upon his request his time record will be made available for his inspection.
19.6 Employees leaving the service of the Company will be given their final pay checks within forty-forty- eight (48) hours after final clearance at points where the payroll offices are located, office is located or a check will be mailed within seventy-two (72) hours at other points, or earlier when possible.
19.7 Employees recalled to work from a layoff will be paid the current rate applicable to the job recalled for in accordance with the terms of the contract in effect as of the date of recall.

a) An employee that enters a classification as a Lead or a Chief shall accrue or continue to accrue longevity within the basic classification.
b) If an employee steps down to a position in a lower classification in which they hold seniority, their pay shall be determined by placing them on the wage step equal to their years of seniority earned in that classification.
c) If an employee steps down to a position in a lower classification in which they do not hold seniority, they shall be placed on the years of service pay progression step equal to their years of service as opposed to the bottom of the wage scale. However, that employee shall be frozen in their new classification for a period of one year.
d) An employee transferring from one classification to another, after being placed on the correct step for pay progression purposes, will progress normally for both years of service and any annual classification increases agreed to by the Company and Union.
e) Whenever an employee successfully bids into a higher classification, that employee will be placed on the pay progression in the higher classification that is at least .25 cents greater than their current rate of pay.
19.13 All full time employees who have completed 20 years of service shall receive longevity pay of twenty cents (20¢) per hour.
19.14 Language Qualified Customer Service Agents will receive one dollar per hour premium above regular Customer Service Agents when working as Language Qualified Customer Service Agents
19.15 Premium Pay positions identified in Article 5 will receive one dollar ($1.00) per hour premium. Chief Agents will not be eligible for this additional premium if assigned to a Premium Pay position/function.
19.16 Any employee awarded a Chief vacancy after February 16, 2022 (Date of Ratification of this Agreement) will be paid at the current base classification plus a Chief Premium of one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) Two dollars ($2.00) To be eligible to receive license pay the licenses must be registered with the Company and proof established as to their possession and currency. 19.12 Skill pay: Employees working in red-circled after being placed at the aircraft mechanic, appropriate step of the Chief/Lead pay scale and mechanic, Station Engineer and Maintenance Controller classifications will receive one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour worked in addition to all other payment.
19.13 Employees identified by LOA #7 in the aircraft mechanic classification, who hold an FCC and or repairman certificate and who do not hold or hold only an A or a P license, will continue to receive the hourly premium set forth below for such certificates remain on that step until such time as they hold both A the base classification rate plus the Chief Premium exceeds that amount, at which time their compensation as a Chief will be switched to the base rate + Premium methodology. While red-circled, such employees will receive annual across-the- board pay increases only.
19.17 All employees covered by this Agreement will receive pay from the first day of new-hire training.

19.8 All full-time (F) Effective June 9, 1982 all employees covered by this Agreement shall be paid a shift premium, as set out below, $0.25 per hour and $0.30 per hour respectively for afternoon and night shifts as additional hourly compensation over the rate paid on day shifts for all hours worked. Any shift starting at 11:00 A.M. 12 noon or later later, and before 5:00 5:59 P.M. shall be considered an afternoon shift. Any shift starting at 5:00 6:00 P.M. or later later, and before 5:00 6:59 A.M. shall be considered a night shift. Afternoon and night Effective June 9, 1982 an off shift differential of $0.34 per hour for forty hours plus applicable shift premium for hours worked on the specific shift will be paid as additional compensation for working on odd shifts as per Article 5, Paragraph A.
