Common use of Wage Application Provisions Clause in Contracts

Wage Application Provisions. (a) The term “classification,” as used in this Agreement, means a type of work within a department and each classification shall be identified by an occupational title. (b) The term “Basic Wage Rate,” (DBWR/IBWR) as used in this Agreement, means the maximum hourly rate (or the corresponding term used at the local level) that is established as a result of an analysis of the job factors of a classification. For learners the term refers to the classification progression step hourly rate the employee has qualified to receive.
